Meet Pat Beattie. Pat is a Red Seal Chef turned brewer known for his fine taste for food and beer. He's unanimously been voted all around great guy and has been known to dabble in the odd video game. Pat recently brewed his first full-scale recipe - a Czech Pilsner that we just put on tap in the taproom!
How did you get your start in the industry?
Left the cooking industry after many moons but still wanted to create things, my sister Kayla got me a job on the bottling line, then I delivered, then keg boy when Barry left, centrifuge operator, now brewing (yeeesh)
What does your day to day at Village look like?
coffee and a sesame seed bagel with peanut butter, then 8 hours of making delicious beer and operating a brewery will all of my friends. Laughs in the tap room on occasion

What do you like to do outside of work?
chill with my doggos, play hockey, cook/share great food, drink good beer, enjoy living in the worlds best city

Steve shotgunning the first cans and soaking himself/ first day brewing
