#NotInMyCity is a facilitative organization launched in July 2017 and championed by Paul Brandt that is raising awareness and taking collective action to prevent and end human trafficking and sexual exploitation. #NotInMyCity builds alliances to support, facilitate and advocate for the development and mobilization of a strategic, integrated plan to bring about transformational and sustainable change at the grassroots, practice, policy and legislative levels.
(Please note that the pricing of these shirts is intended to maximize the donation back to Not In My City and does not include delivery costs).
Village Brewery is pleased to work with #NotInMyCity on a great fundraising initiative launched by NIMC Ally Mimi Koles through the sale of Western Shirts. Mimi is currently studying architectural engineering in Waterloo but is keen to help bring awareness to human trafficking and young women and youth being exploited. She developed an NIMC inspired design on the back of cowboy shirts to help raise funds for the cause. Her design also includes the iconic Village Clink logo.
If you’re enjoying a Stampede Pancake Breakfast or a Western Party this year, wear Mimi’s print with pride and the knowledge that you’re supporting NIMC’s fight to disrupt and end human trafficking.
These terrific Western Shirts are available for purchase through the Village Marketplace with the proceeds going directly to #NotInMyCity. They are available in Ladies XS, S, M and L as well as Men’s L and XL.
Cheers to Mimi and everyone rallying to support the NotInMyCity cause. Learn more about #NotInMyCity and the important work they do here: https://notinmycity.ca
